Carleton University Promotional Lanyard

This is a fabric lanyard with a bit of give. The color is pleasing, with the bright red fabric with white lettering. There is no velcro on the back, so it feels good on your neck, though not as silky as some lanyards. The connecting piece is a clip, which is not as secure as a clasp, so this is really only good for light, disposable things, such as name tags. I would not want to hang keys on it. The connector does not rotate, reducing the chance that the name tag will be flipped, resulting in nobody being able to tell who you are.

A decent lanyard. 4/5 stars.

Nelson Education Promotional Lanyard

The length is excellent. If you wear it under your shirt, it won't be in your belly button when you sit down. However, if you have a key on it, it might.

The fabric is wide and comfortable, with no connector to aggrevate your neck. The color is a deep blue, quite attractive.

The logo is visible but not obnoxious.

There is a lobster-claw style connector at the end, which can rotate freely. This is good for keys and pens, not so good for a conference tag, which you'd like the lanyard to help you keep the correct side forward.

I like this lanyard. I give it 4/5 stars.
